Fall Foliage Trail Ride & Potluck Lunch on Sunday, November 3, 2013
Sponsored by the Free State ApHC and held jointly with the Mount Airy Saddle Pals
Location:  West Friendship Park, home of the Howard County Living Farm Heritage Museum
Address: 12985 Frederick Road, West Friendship, MD 21794

Ride is approximately two hour leisurely ride across this 300 acre property through wooded trails, stream crossings, meadows and around crop fields. Enjoy Maryland’s fall beauty as the leaves will be changing.  Trails are not rocky and horses need not be shod.  Pace will be mostly at a walk, with trot sessions if all horses & riders are comfortable moving out and the footing is good. Riders may canter on their own around the fields where the trailers park once the group has completed the ride, plenty of space to stretch their legs.

Plentiful parking for trailers, portajohns, onsite water, picnic benches, mounting blocks, shade

After the ride, all are welcome to join in for a pot luck lunch at the picnic tables up by the Farm Museum “House after Electricity”
