Shenandoah Trail Riders and Horseman’s Association 500th Trail Ride

STRHA is a fun group of horse folks who love to ride the trails of the Shenandoah Valley. In celebrating their 500th ride they will be hosting a trail ride at Mcllwee Farm in Star Tannery VA on August 22. Larry Mcllwee and Eugene Keckley will be leading an (approximately) five hour mountain trail ride. History, Horses, Hauntings Trail Ride on June 6-7 in West, VA

The first annual “History, Horses, Hauntings” equine trial ride will open the previously private historic 237 acre Stephenson, Virginia property 4 miles from West, VA to the public. Planned for Sat & Sun June 6-7, 2015 from 10:00am until 12:30pm. on both dates. On Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. at Ruxville Farm, Moseley, VA 23120 there will be coaching and casual competition in the sport of TREC. TREC is an international trail riding sport that tests the full range of abilities of the horse and rider partnership. USTR Memorial Day Benefit Trail Ride

The United States Trail Ride, Inc. (USTR) will be hosting a benefit trail ride at Glenwood Park, Middleburg, VA on Sunday, May 24th, 2015. The Memorial Day Benefit ride is USTR’s largest fund raising event annually.  2015 will mark the 21st running of this popular ride. This year’s proceeds will support The Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship and Ride on Ranch (an equine assisted therapy/ non-profit organization.)
