The highly anticipated 2015 WIHS Regional Horse Show & USHJA Zone 3 Finals will be hosted at Prince George’s Equestrian Center (PGEC) in Upper Marlboro, MD, from Friday, October 16, to Sunday, October 18, offering local and regional riders a final opportunity to punch their qualifying ticket to show at the world-renowned Washington International Horse Show (WIHS).

Washington International Horse Show announces qualified horses and riders

As the 2015 edition of the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) approaches, riders throughout the country who have qualified during the past year for the WIHS Hunter and Jumper Championships and WIHS Equitation Finals are preparing to travel to the nation’s capital to compete in the Finals, which will be held Tuesday, October 20, through Sunday, October 25, at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Bridgewater College announces the addition of Dressage and Eventing Team

The Bridgewater College equestrian program has announced the addition of two new teams beginning this fall. A dressage team and an eventing team will be offered alongside the program’s IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) team.

Last week’s top winners at HITS Culpeper Winston National

Show jumping competition returned to HITS Commonwealth Park this past week for HITS Culpeper Winston National.  Abigail McArdle, of St. Charles, Illinois, aboard David McArdle’s Cosma 20, got down to business in no time, taking home first in Friday’s $15,000 Brook Ledge Open Jumper Prix.
