AQHA 2015 Novice Championship Moves to Virginia Horse Center!

In a major announcement from the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) the Virginia Horse Center (VHC) has officially been awarded the bid for the 2015 AQHA Nutrena East Level 1 (Novice) Championships.

The AQHA East Level 1 Championships will make the move from Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Lexington, Virginia for the 2015 edition of the show, to be held September 30 – October 4.

Back to Basics Horse Show

The Back to Basics Horse Show Association (BBHSA) in Catlett, Va., has updated their show schedule to reflect recent cancellations because of weather. Two weekends have been added this season: July 26–27 and Nov. 8–9, 2014; the pleasure, mini, and trail classes will be held on Saturday, and gymkhana and speed events will be held Sunday. Hazelwild Farm Educational Foundation in Fredericksburg, Va., hosts the first Memorial Classic Horse Show on August 24, 2014.
