The first annual “History, Horses, Hauntings” equine trial ride will open the previously private historic 237 acre Stephenson, Virginia property 4 miles from West, VA to the public. 56th Annual Hunt Country Stable Tour this weekend May 23-24, 2015

The Hunt Country Stable Tour is a self-driven tour held on Memorial Day weekend, May 23rd & 24th from 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. All proceeds go to the Outreach Ministries of Trinity Episcopal Church (local, national, and international).

USTR Memorial Day Benefit Trail Ride

The United States Trail Ride, Inc. (USTR) will be hosting a benefit trail ride at Glenwood Park, Middleburg, VA on Sunday, May 24th, 2015. The Memorial Day Benefit ride is USTR’s largest fund raising event annually.  2015 will mark the 21st running of this popular ride. This year’s proceeds will support The Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship and Ride on Ranch (an equine assisted therapy/ non-profit organization.)

Little Fork Volunteer Fire and Rescue Benefit Trail Ride and BBQ

On Saturday April 18, 2015 the Little Fork Volunteer Fire and Rescue will be hosting a benefit trail ride and BBQ dinner at Three Oaks Farm 7073 Cedar Crossing Way, Rixeyville, VA 22737. The trail ride will be raising funds to build a fire and rescue station and support their Technical Large Animal Rescue Team. Benefit Poker Run Trail Ride

On April 4, 2015  the SouthEastern Association of Trail Riders will be hosting a Benefit Poker Run Trail Ride at 37093 Warrique Road at Tidewater Horse Trail in Ivor, VA. It will be held for a fellow equestrian who was hurt in a horse related accident. The proceeds will go towards her medical bills. Donation for ride will be $25 which includes lunch if pre-registered. There will be primitive overnight parking available Friday night for $10.
