Commonwealth Foxhounds Hunter Pace April 20, 2013

Join us on Saturday, April 20, 2013 for CFH’s Spring Hunter Pace at Wirtland, Oak Grove, VA.  A Hunter Pace is designed to test a horse’s suitability as a field hunter.  The event is ridden over a course simulating hunting terrain and should be ridden at a “hunting pace”, i.e., the speed at which one would normally ride to the hounds.  The course is marked with orange ribbons and arrows to indicate turns.
